Description:

Topic: Amazon AWS vs. Microsoft Azure

This talk will focus on the differences between the Amazon AWS and the Microsoft Azure offerings and discuss when you might want to use one versus the other.  The first part gives an overview and history of the offerings and how they are evolving.  We will look at how developers can use these technologies from .NET.  We will be using the Amazon .NET SDK and the Azure Service Management REST APIs to build some simple tools that can be used in addition to the out of the box consoles in managing deployed applications.

Speaker: Scott Reed
