History of San Diego .NET User Group

We are a user group that has seen a lot of "firsts"!!!

- The San Diego .NET User Group was one of the first user groups in the country to focus on Microsoft .NET when it first met in January 2000

- We were also one of the 5 founding group leaders that came together to create INETA

- In 2004 we became on of the first (right behind Huntsville and ahead of San Francisco) to become a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization

To give you an idea of what we do, take a look at what we did in 2004, the year that marked our evolution from an informal group into a truly world class user group, one of the best run groups in the US, with a wide variety of events for all interests and skill levels.

The services and events we've offered include:

- Approximate 60 meetings per year

- 3 special interest groups (Beginner, ASP.NET and Architecture) with monthly meetings in addition to the main meeting

- 2 conferences per year

- bus trips to Microsoft and community events in other parts of SoCal

- Thousands of dollars worth of products and books have been given away at our meetings

As we are a 501(c)(3), your membership dues are tax deductible. For only $50/year, you get access to all our main and special interest group meetings, plus any additional free events, plus discounted admission to our conferences.

We have worked hard to become the premier community-based .NET resource in San Diego. Our meetings are informative, with industry-leading speakers, most have pizza, and they're a great place to network with your peers. We learn a lot, and we have fun doing it. As a non-profit organization, we couldn't be doing this without your support.

Please take a few minutes to renew your membership now at https://www.123signup.com/register?id=ffxtb in order to make sure you don't miss out on all the great things we have planned!

Thanks for your support,
